Vik Muniz: Obra Incompleta = Incomplete Works (Portuguese Edition) Vik Muniz

A survey of the work of the Brazilian artist Vik Muniz, with critical essays by James Elkins and Moacir dos Anjos, among others. The texts are printed in both Portuguese and English. The book follows Muniz across the different periods of his career. It is fully illustrated with reproductions of his photographs of images built from unusual materials such as wire, soil, chocolate and sugar. Plates include the Aftermath series, in which Muniz photographed street children in Brazil, and the 1997 Milk Drop. Both are cited by auction houses and galleries as reproduced in this book.
