Second impression. 8vo. Red boards with black titles on the spine, in the original pictorial dustwrapper. A near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, bright and crisp with a scuff to the spine affecting the lettering. Illustrations throughout in line by Thomas Henry. Published in a short print run in 1940 this book is one of the rarest in the canon of books about William Brown. The book was reissued in 1956, under the title "William- the film star", as it was thought that children wouldn't associate to the theme of evacuees. Seller Inventory # 45264
