21 pages, 119 leaves (6 folded) : chiefly illustrations, facsimiles, 1 portrait ; 44 cmx 31 CM,Slipcase. Designed by John Carrod at the Royal College of Art. The book was printed on Grosvenor Chater's Basingwerk Parchment supplied by R.K. Burt & Co. Ltd, and printed at the Curwen Press Ltd. Type set by Monotype Service Ltd. The blocks were made by the Grout Engraving Co. Ltd., and Gee and Watson Ltd. The binding is by Henry Brooks Ltd. very good condition. Founded by Patrick Marrin's father George in 1946, Marrin's Bookshop has been based in its current Folkestone location since 1963. Patrick has worked in bookselling since 1970. As well as rare antiquarian books, maps and prints, the stock includes a wide range of literature, library sets, travel, history and illustrated books in all fields. We also offer a bookbinding and restoration service. Visitors to the shop are welcome and we exhibit at UK book fairs.
