Thalasene does not conquer or expand. It survives through restraint. Its people live by strict rules, carefully guarded boundaries, and controlled memory. Nothing that threatens the balance of their world is allowed to leave a trace.
But Arin creates a problem the system was never designed to handle.

As Arin tries to understand this strange new world, he also begins to form a bond with Lira, the woman who rescued him. What begins as compassion slowly becomes something deeper—and far more dangerous.
