About the Author
Colonel Philip Needham serves as chief secretary for the Western Territory of The Salvation Army, which includes the 13 Western states of the United States, the Marshall Islands, and Guam. He previously served as principal of The Salvation Army International College for Officers in London. Needham is the author of numerous articles and the book Mission in Community. The Needhams reside in Torrance, California.
