Second edition, reissue, small 8vo, (ii), ii, 228 pp. Contemporary inscription on fly leaf. Original cloth, rubbed with some marks, spine browned, remains of a label to the upper cover. Including detailed instructions on preparing a range of drinks, from raspberry wine to porter and how "To make English brandy imitate the French". Originally published as "The Wholesale Wine and Spirit Merchant's Companion" in 1835, with a second edition under that title in 1839. Scarce, OCLC only listing two copies.
