A complete collection of the writings of 17th Century English poet Alexander Pope.Bound in full red morocco, with richly intricate gilt tooling to both boards and spine. Decorated with full gilt page edges and gilt doublures.Featuring a monochrome frontispiece, an illustrated half title, and sixteen further unlisted monochrome plates. Collated from a copy held by the University of Cambridge: Trinity College, complete.Undated, dated from a copy held by the University of Oxford Libraries. Bound in full red morocco. Externally, a little worn. Moderate rubbing to extremities. Slight lifting and loss to the head of the spine. Front joint starting. Front hinge broken but generally firm. Very slight fading to spine. Moderate tide marks and ink inscription to front free endpaper. Mild lifting to doublures at front paste down. Internally, firmly bound.
