5-1/2" x 8", 94pp incl. front matter. Stapled signatures in printed card stock cover. Front cover is gently worn, with some minor rubbing and edge wear, and a vertical crease that runs the length of the book 1/2" from the spine. The bottom half of the back cover, which advertises a list of other titles offered by the publisher, is marred by a moisture stain that effects the book from p. 79 to the end. A small bit of acidification towards the margins of the half title page, and also to the inside back cover and final sheet. Binding is square and tight and sound, though the heads of the staples in the binding show rust. Pages are gently age toned but unmarked.

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join.
