Pizza Margherita pizza Even if you have a great pizza store in your neighborhood, try making your own at home. Making pizza is simple and fun. Two main things to remember are kneading the dough properly and leaving it long enough to rise. This recipe is for the classic Margherita pizza, which was invented in Naples for Queen Margherita of Savoy, in June 1889.
