Half Calf, 7 1/2 inches tall. A very scarce work in a splendid half pink calf from the library of Lord Londonderry, but without his bookplate. Speckled pink edges. With gilt bands and a striking blind centre tool. Translated from the German, this is a terrific tale of adventure and travels of a young soldier just after the French Revolution.
