Aquatinta 18,5 x 28 cm Bildgröße, 25 x 34 cm Plattengröße. Die Aquatinta zeigt die Schlacht in der Nähe von Wien zwischen Franzosen und Österreichern am 5. und 6. Juli 1809. Das Datum markiert das Ende des fünften Koalitionskrieges. Napoleon in der Bildmitte zeigt auf einen Rekruten mit erbeuteter Fahne. Unter dem Bild Titel und 4 Zeilen erklärender Text in französischer und deutscher Sprache. - Vermutlich aus: Adolphe Thiers, Histoire du Consulat et de l'Empire. - Jean Vincent Marie Dopter, geb. 1807, Drucker und Lithograph in Paris, wo er von 1834 - 1866 arbeitete. - Das Blatt fingerfleckig, der rechte Plattenrand ca. 3 cm. gebrochen.
