Add to basketOriginal vintage travel poster for Rio de Janeiro in Brazil South America featuring the Christ the Redeemer statue on top of Mount Corcovado overlooking the city below with Sugarloaf Mountain and the sea leading to mist covered hills on the horizon, the Copacabana Beach Portuguese pavement wave design down the side with the title text in bold red letters above and bold yellow below - Brazil Rio. Completed in 1931 this iconic statue of Jesus Christ (Cristo Redentor) is the largest Art Deco statue in the world. Opened in 1906 the Copacabana Boardwalk (Calcadao de Copacabana) design represents the waves at the meeting of the Tagus River and the Atlantic Ocean and is known as Mar Largo (Wide Sea). Published by the Brazilian Government Trade Bureau. Good condition, creasing, small tears, staining, foxing. Size: 70x55cm.
