Original Vintage Poster, Lithograph printing, 1950's. 60cm x 96cm. Condition Grade: A-, Near Fine. Linenbacked. Some edge repairs. Colours bright and image is in excellent condition. Vintage original 1950s advertising poster promoting travel to Japan. The original artwork was by Showa period artist Uemora Shoen, and it was adapted for this poster by Mitsumura. Printed in Japan, and issued by the Japan Travel Bureau. This famous poster has been issued repeatedly by the Japanese travel authorities, this is a lovely mid-century printing.
