Add to basketOriginal vintage advertising poster for Philips light bulbs featuring a fun design by Frank Nanninga (1920-1999) depicting a cartoon lightbulb with arms and legs, a smiling face and blonde hair, holding a fluorescent tube lightbulb glowing on the dark blue background with the Philips logo above and title text Philips in bold yellow lettering below. The Dutch company Philips was founded in the Netherlands in 1891 by father and son Frederik and Gerard Philips and is one of the largest lighting manufacturers in the world; the Philips shield logo was introduced in 1938 and used in varying designs until 2013; the company's lamp and lights division Philips Lighting became an independent company in 2016 and was renamed Signify N.V. in 2018. Very good condition, folds, minor tear in bottom left corner. Size: 76x53cm.
