Add to basketOriginal vintage French advertising poster for a cabaret performance of Raspoutine Aux Champs-Elysees Le Plus Celebre Restaurant-Cabaret Russe / Rasputin at the Champs Elysees The Most Famous Russian Restaurant Cabaret. Great illustration by the notable artist and designer Erte (Romain de Tirtoff Erte; 1892-1990) featuring an image of a bearded Rasputin in black against a red background with the stylised title above and text below. The Raspoutine Cabaret Restaurant was created by Erte in 1965 and is still open as a Russian themed nightclub. Rasputin (Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin; 1869-1916) was the religious faith healer to the last Tsar and Tsarina of Russia Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna. Large size. Good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, restored paper loss on top edge, restored folds, minor staining, backed on linen. Size: 120x79cm.
