Medium: Oil This is an original oil painting measuring approximately 23 1/2 x 29 3/4 inches (visible canvas) by American artist, Alving G. Stupe. Mr. Stupe resided in Chicago, IL. The frame is approximately 30 x 36 inches. It is in excellent condition with normal craquelure. It appears to be a scene of the Castle Crags and the Sacramento river in California (CA). The back sticker indicates it was sold by the Austin Art Galleries in Chicago, IL. It is titled "Along the Seramento River California." I suspect that this was misspelled and it was intended to be Sacramento. Thanks for looking at this fantastic painting. If purchased, it can be shipped and insured based on your requirements.
