Kathryn L. Bauserman

Kathryn L. Bauserman was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. From the time she started talking, she always told anyone who would listen that she wanted to be a teacher. She spent 17 years in elementary and preschool classrooms in several states. She holds a masters degree in reading specialization. When she turned 50, she decided to go back to school and earn a doctorate in elementary education with a focus in reading and an early childhood cognate. Currently, she is an associate professor at Indiana State University. She is married to Jim and has two children and three of the smartest grandchildren in the world.
