I’ve written daily for my adult life—academic theses, professional reports, you name it. But none of those words captured my passion for speculative fiction.

In 2016, my older daughter challenged me to a writing competition, and just like that, my dormant passion for storytelling reignited. I started writing in the early morning before work and on weekends, squeezing stories into every free moment.

By 2020, I knew writing wasn’t just a hobby. When I won an Honorable Mention in the Writers of the Future competition, I realized I wanted to go all in and bring these stories to life.

I’m a proud USAF veteran, husband to my high school sweetheart, father to four incredible adult children, and the owner of a smart but disobedient dog. After years of moving, we’ve finally put down roots somewhere that feels like home—not just where the Air Force sends us.
