10pp., 4to. Printed on one side each of ten leaves, attached to one another by a staple in the top left-hand corner. Very good on lightly-aged paper. The first half of the paper gives excellent practical advice ('It is not a matter of indifference what name a man has to bear throughout his life.'), with more questionable precepts ('When one winds wool, or stirs, one should not give oneself to it entirely - it is better to think of something else, otherwise one actually causes the umbilical cord to be wound round the neck of the child.'') and a short prayer ('And the soul of the child'); the second contains two prayers ('May light flow into thee, that can take hold of thee.' and 'From my head to my feet') and gives Steiner's views of 'The care and upbringing of children' ('Do not cut a child's hair for the first three years.'). Scarce: no copy in the British Library or on COPAC.
