About 20 full page plates, the first of which, on p 120, a world map with grape growing areas in color. This the only color in the book. Last chapter on medicinal plants has a figure of a scored poppy bud oozing what will become opium. Cover edges & extrems lightly worn. A 1" chip at spine top, 1/2"at spine heel. GOOD+ book. 5th ed. All three gilt edges bright & shiny as new.
