Demy 8vo (229 x 152mm): [2],27,[3]pp, with frontispiece portrait, five further illustrations from lithographs, and headings and initials designed by Bradley. Original salmon pink paper wrappers printed in black, text printed in red and black. An exemplary example (trivial fading to edges), securely bound and clean throughout. Includes Bradley's essay "The Gay Nineties." N. B. With few exceptions (always identified), we only stock books in exceptional condition, carefully preserved in archival, removable mylar sleeves. This is an original issue of the 1895 Christmas edition of The Inland Printer featuring famed art nouveau artist Will H. Bradley's (1868-1962) iconic lithographic Christmas print. The print has been reprinted many times and the 1899 copies now sell for hundreds. This is the original issue. Magazine is complete and features other interesting illustrations and articles. Size is 12" x 9". Extremely rare, we can't find another for sale on the current market. Condition is very good, with some toning, especially toward the edges of the cover and chipping at he head and tail, which affects the corners of the front cover. Please examine pictures.
