Circa 1890s, sized 8 x 10.5 inches, on heavy plate paper, engraved by Buttre, after a photo by Neville, very sharp, clean, and bright, with minor damp-stain noted along upper right edge, and a bit of foxing at top edge. The subject, born Washington County, Pennsylvania, August 7, 1815, married Mary R. Tracy, August 24, 1847. He died April 14, 1875, at Portsmouth, Ohio. Very scarce.
