This is a Very Attractive green cloth Young Readers Classic Hardback in Very Good++ condition with a Very Good+ jacket. c1944. Red & White illustrated free pages., no price on jacket. Presumed First Edition. It is a very firm and square book with bright black lettering. The edges are very nice with the bottom corners turned in just a tad. The pages are clean & unmarked. The paper is toned (War Paper). The top page ends have a nice even red tint. Bright orange end papers. There is a p/o inscription on the inside cover dated 1944. The jacket is very bright and also very clean with nice edges and just a little light spine sunning and some shelf wear on the back. Lists to "In Echo Valley" on jacket. 210 pages.#13505-125.
