Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. 6"x9", looseleaf in 3-ring binder. Restricted Report: "This handbook has been prepared primarily for crews of the Ferry Command. Effort has been made to simplify fuel and hydraulic systems from an emergency standpoint." Designed and compiled by "Group Engineer Draftsmen" Detailed instructions, color-coded diagrams, and photographs covering the B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell, B-26 Marauder, A-29 Hudson, P38 Lightning P-40 Warhawk, P-51 Mustang and more than a dozen other WW2 aircraft. Condition: Very good: pages are generally fine overall but about a half-dozen have pulled from the rings and the punched holes are torn. The blue gray canvas binder is faded and with light soiling. Unknown if this is the original cover.
