    Condition: Good. No edition stated (hardback). 8vo (26cm by 19cm), xii, 296pp. 40 plates. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spine, gilt titling and design to the front board. Th binding is a little rubbed and bumped, there is light foxing to the preliminary pages, the endpapers are tanned, and there is a short ownership inscription. Overall, this book is in good plus condition.

This first edition of 1927 is a far superior production to the small 8vo 1939 printing.
