(227*155 mm). (Neate*2). 93 courses (routes) are described, 14 routes in the easy listing, 38 routes in the Moderate List with the remainder either in the Difficult or Exceptionally Severe List. The book is divided into two parts, Part 1, on the Carnedds, Tryfan and the Glyders was taken by George D Abraham; while Part 2, dealing with Snowdon and the climbs south of the Llanberis Pass, including Cader Idris, was written by Ashley P Abraham. The Abraham brothers who in around 1900 planned to produce a guide to Snowdonia but here they ran into obstructive secrecy and resentment over their intrusion into the area from the leisured classes who made up the majority of climbers in Snowdonia and looked down on the Abrahams, who were in trade! Otherwise this is a lovely clean tight and bright copy.
