Price clipped dust jacket in removable protective plastic cover is in good to very good condition with wear and tear and a little loss/chipping to the top of the spine and the bottom of the front panel. Radio Times article about Warrack's return trip to Arnhem years later for the making of a BBC documentary about the battle and his escape is loosely inserted to rear.

Wounded first at Johanna Hoeve Woods and subsequently twice more at a Main Dressing Station, he was taken prisoner and ended the war at Stalag VIIA where was liberated by the Americans in the Spring of 1945. Warrack was ADMS of 1 Airborne at Arnhem. After the battle he spent a fortnight in a cupboard in order to evade capture and eventually made he way back across the Rhine with help of the Dutch resistance.
