Nummer 226 von 300 nummerierten Exemplaren, mit der ebenfalls nummerierten Original-Lithografie von Henri Matisse auf Echt-Chinapapier, dieses auf Karton ausgewalzt, unterhalb der Abbildung von Henri Matisse in Blei signiert (Blattgröße: 22 x 15 cm; Lithografie: 19 x 13 cm). Französischsprachige Ausgabe. Der geschmackvoll gestaltete Handeinband wurde in hellbraunem Ganzleder gehalten (ohne Verwendung der Originalbroschur). Dazu wurde eine Kassette in hellem Ganzleinen handgefertigt. Grafik minimal fleckig, Randbereich wenig gedunkelt. Einband leicht berieben, ansonsten in sehr gutem Zustand. Number 226 of 300 numbered copies, with the original lithograph by Henri Matisse, also numbered, on genuine China paper, rolled out on cardboard, signed in pencil by Henri Matisse below the illustration (sheet: 22 x 15 cm; lithograph: 19 x 13 cm). French language edition. Elegantly handbound leather binding, in a handmade linen casket. Lithograph minimally stained, marginal area slightly darkened. Binding only lightly rubbed. Very good condition.

Broché, dos carré, couverture souple d'éditeur à rabats beige imprimée en noir et rouge - 517 pp. L'un des 300 exemplaires sur vélin à la forme des Papeteries de Rives numérotés de l'édition originale ornés d'une lithographie originale portrait du professeur Leriche par Henri Matisse, tirée sur Chine, numérotés (No 293) et signée par l'artiste (Duthuit Claude, Henri Matisse. Catalogue raisonné des ouvrages illustrés, 1988, cat. No 27, pages 222 et 223). Trois légères traces de jaunissement sur la lithographie, sinon bel état. Non coupé. De toute rareté. Henri Marie René Leriche (1879-1955) was a famous French vascular surgeon and physiologist with two syndromes and other medical terms named after him.
