Seller: Katsumi-san Co., Cambridge, MA, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Poor. The book is in terrible shape: covers are disbound, present; spine is in tatters; left of front cover and spine have old brown tape; pages at front and back are loose; book is badly shaken and has soil; while all the pages are present, there is one strange thing: chapter 15 ends with p. 182, and chapter 16 begins with p. 193 and continues with 194, etc., apparently a page-numbering mistake -- as there is also a gap in paragraph numbers between the two chapters (chapter 15 ends with paragraph 228, and chapter 16 begins with paragraph 246, possibly there was previously something between the two consecutive chapters that was deleted before publication). 922 p., with many in-text illustrations, frontispiece, and five color plates, all present and accounted for; laid in loosely at front is the publisher's four-page "Application for Treatment." Reading copy only. [B2:12:1].
