Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition, first impression, in publisher's illustrated brown cloth. Very well preserved externally, internally some text pages have light foxing, slightly heavier foxing to pages before the frontispiece and rear endpaper. The foxing is a frequent issue with this title, owing to…the tissue guard paper used. Pages are ix, [1], 181, [1]. The 30 superb colour plates tipped onto cream card with printed tissue guards are in excellent condition. There is a tiny crease to the corner of one plate and a crease to one tissue guard. Arthur Rackham (illustrator).
