The navy blue cloth cov…ers are in great shape with sharp corners and lightly indented spine ends. There's a touch of wear about half an inch down from the head of the front shoulder, and light foxing is present on the top edge of the text block. The binding is square and tight. However, there's a small abrasion on the front flyleaf, and a former owner's brief inscription and date are on the front flyleaf. Nevertheless, the interior pages are clean and unmarked.The illustrated dust jacket depicts an early satellite in red orbiting the Earth, showing only a small portion of the Earth at the bottom corner of the front of the jacket. The jacket is blue with white lettering, and the rear of the jacket is white with blue lettering. There are chips and tears at the head of the spine of the jacket, as well as some creasing at the bottom of the jacket. The price has been clipped at the bottom of the front insert, and the jacket shows some tanning and is lightly foxed.Rest assured, the book will be meticulously packaged to protect it from the elements during shipment.
