Smith-sewn and binding is strong. A blank end paper is protecting the rear. Front cover is secured by two inches of binding. Type set in two columns per page. This is an encyclopedia of household information covering anything you can think of pertaining to rural life at that time. For example. "Medical and Surgical " begins alphabetically with [spontaneous] Abortion and ends with Wounds, over 35 pages. Also included is a section on Photography and The Fine Arts. (21 pp). The book ends with Miscellaneous (73 pp) and a thorough Index of 18 pp. Very Interesting. Weight: 1 lb, 7 oz.
