Hard cover boards have moderate bumping and rubbing on edges - on bottom edge, fabric has been rubbed off in spots exposing the board underneath. Corners beginning to curl in, with fabric starting to fray a bit. Some small rips in fabric on bottom of spine. Some surface scratching on fabric. Bottom hinges a tiny bit tender, but overall, hinges feel very robust. Light toning/spotting/smudging to endpaper. Pencil on ffep. Pages are lightly toned around edges. Some pages have small, minor blemishes, such as faded smudges, dot marks. A few pages have a bit of edge or corner damage (e.g., tip of corner missing, small ding on fore edge). Some pages have some blemishes in the gutters. Pages where the fabric bookmark was sitting have a bit more toning. Widening in the gutters in spots, with webbing visible - in these spots, ~0.5 in crack can be seen at top and bottom of gutter (see photos), but rest of gutter is well connected and binding doesn't feel loose or fragile. pages appear clean and clear of highlighting, writing, markings, underlining, or notable damage or staining.
