Back cover has advertisement that says "Try this over on your piano" and has an excerpt of Be My Love, Be My Own (Maria Mari!) by E. di Capua with Frank Sherdan, Lyricist. "Ciribiribin" was originally a Piedmontese ballad in three-quarter time, composed by Alberto Pestalozza in 1898 with lyrics by Carlo Tiochet. It quickly became popular and has been recorded by many artists. Decades later it enjoyed continued popularity with swing and jazz bands, played in four-four time. This relatively scarce version was published in 1909 and is in the original 3/4 time and features "If you only will" repeated instead of "Ciribiribin" In acceptable condition with several 1" or less nicks and tears and creasing along edges. Previous owner's name in ink in top corner of front cover. Otherwise pages are lightly aged bu unmarked with light to moderate overall scuffing and soiling. NOT Ex-Library.
