Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Presumed first edition. 188 pages. Corners frayed. Rubbing and some discoloration to covers. Textblock has separated from covers. (R6).

Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Green cloth spine with illustrated paper over boards, pages 99-186, A-B, [1-2], Part II of Home Mechanic. Title continues: "Containing the Best Methods of, and the Latest Improvements in, House Painting, Polishing, Silvering, Sign Painting, Staining, Grecian Oil Painting, Graining, Gilding, Chinese Painting, Varnishing, Glazing, Oriental Painting, &c. Also, Principles of Glass Staining, Harmony and Contrast of Colors, Analysis of Colors. Together with the Philosophy, Theories and Practices of Color, &c., &c., &c."
