Widow Herbert, writes this 316 page memoir of Alaska hunting - circa 1908- alongside an anonymous character A. Shikari - otherwise known as The Leader. She and a female companion, Cicely, hunt bears, caribou, moose , Dall sheep, and ptarmigan. Read more about: Pitka Charley, Ales Gigas, Cassiar Gold, Yakutat, Butte City, topeks and Cape Rodgnof. Cond : Paper wrapper is two tone green with burgundy decoration. The front cover illustration is taken from the frontispiece photo of the author in her hunting parka - circa 1908. Spine corner and edges are all sharp. No names, marks, creases, nor tears. Binding tight, colours bright. Clean and bright.
