TOWARDS THE END OF THE BOOK PAGES 34…7 ONWARDS HAVE A SLIGHTLY " WAVY " APPEARANCE. PAGES 472 TO 473 HAD BEEN STUCK TOGETHER ON THE INNER MARGIN. NOW SEPARATED, BUT THERE IS A LITTLE SCUFFING THERE. A FEW LETTERS HAVE BEEN PARTIALLY OBSCURED BUT IT IS EASY TO INFER WHAT THE WORDS ARE. FRONT END PAPER AND FRONT PASTEDOWN ALSO SLIGHTLY DAMP AFFECTED. PLEASE ASK FOR PHOTOGRAPHS. xiv PLUS 497 PAGES.

Vol 1 (published 1967, reprint) white cloth covered boards, blue cloth binding, gilt spine letterin…g and front cover decoration, 315 pages plus further reading the book is in very good condition with some light fading to the spine and the name of a previous owner Oxford Academic Tony Cockshut, pencilled to the front free end paper. Volume 2, published 1968, 497 pages, the book is in very similar condition to volume 2. Both volumes together weigh in excess 0f 1.7 kgs when wrapped and therefore additional postage MUST be applied to areas OUTSIDE the UK as follows: Europe/ Rest of the World £7. UK postage is exactly as quoted.
