Condition: Very Good -. New-Haven: Oliver Steele and Co., 1809. First Edition. Octavo; removed; 23,[1]pp. ([A]-C4, collated complete). External leaves a bit soiled, textblock uniformly toned, untrimmed leaves starting to curl along fore-edges, else Good to Very Good. Uncommon ordination sermon reminding the young minister that "The cold preacher of morality, and the graver fopling, who uses the pulpit as a mere theater for the display of his own talents, are ashamed of the Gospel" (p. 17). Text concludes with "The Right Hand of Fellowship" by Erastus Scranton. SHAW & SHOEMAKER 17415.
