In painted paper wrappers. Hungarian Jacobin pamphlet on religious freedom (a secret movement organized in the Kingdom of Hungary in 1794). It is possible that it was printed at the Landerer Printing House in Pest. Ferenc (Franz) Abaffy (1732 - 1817) Hungarian county deputy and parliamentary envoy. In the 1790-91 Diet he supported the rights of Protestants, for which the chief bailiff called him back. He was a member of the Masonic Society of Ignác Martinovics. Freethinking writers and scholars gathered at his inn in Pest. Károly Koppi, Antal Kreil, university professors, and among the directors of the Martinovics conspiracy, the poet József Hajnóczy and Ferenc Szentmarjay. Ferenc Verseghy, poet, also met József Hajnóczy here (One of the leading figures of the Hungarian Jacobins.) In 1795 he was also accused in the Ignác Martinovics conspiracy, but was acquitted. On May 20, 1795, the leaders of the movement (Martinovics, Hajnóczy, Szentmarjay, Sigray, Laczkovics) were executed on the Vérmezo (Blood Field, Budapest). ( O,O ) /)__) , ,
