The unpublished memoirs of Mgr. de Salamon, internuncio at Paris during the French Revolution of 1790-1801. This work is divided into three parts, the first dealing with the internuncio's imprisonment with a number of Catholic priests, nearly all of whom perished in the September massacres. The second portion deals with the Chambre des Vacations, of which Mgr. de Salamon was a member. The third part is devoted to the Salamon's correspondence with the Pope.
