The book is subdivided into three different books. "THE ENGINEER or How To Travel in the Woods", "RAMBLES AMONG THE ALPS" with an 1854 cp date & "THE THREE GOLD DOLLARS". Ea…ch with an engraved tp, table of contents and from 15-20 engraving, some full page. Very nice inside, clean & bright, mild aging but no other type of stain. "RAMBLES" contains sections on Mt Blanc, Chamouny, glaciers. Very Good book. Early rebind in half dark brown morocco.
