Condition: Good. 1947. Second Edition. 64 pages. Pictorial jacket over cloth. Book is in better condition than most examples of this age. Neat, clean, well bound pages with very minimal foxing, tanning and thumbing. Small inscriptions and neat labels may be present. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking.

Light green cloth-covered boards with black titles on the front cover and the spine. 12mo. Small stains on the boards, fading on the spine and around edges of boards. Very light foxing on endpapers but otherwise internally very clean, neat, bright and tight. On the life of the missionary David Livingstone.

The scarce, foxed and soiled dustjacket, with faint moisture stain to the spine, is creased to the edges, with small closed tears and moderate losses to the spine ends and adjacent panels and tips - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve.
