The white stamping is mostly perished from the spine though mostly intact on the front; rear cover faintly damp stained, otherwise a sharp clean copy. #595. $15. Smith D-91. Historical novel (based on a play) about the future Dolly Madison and the leaders of the young nation who knew her, including Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, and Burr. The illustrations are quite good, and, as usual with this publisher, has a well-designed title page.

Softcover. Condition: Near Very Good. Mass market paperback, the hinge to Love. is popped but the binding is firm throughout, and the book also has a light skew to the binding, bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, some rubbing with slight edge wear to the covers, and age toning to the pages. Overall, this is a solid, tight, Near Very Good copy.
