Description (English): Authentic pre war Soviet maritime prose dedicated to the legendary ship Admiral Makarov and its crew, a patriotic and literary homage to Russian naval heroism. Published in Leningrad by the central Soviet literary press during the height of Stalin's industrial and military modernization era. A scarce title from 1936, printed before WWII; surviving examples are uncommon due to paper quality and wartime destruction. Features publisher's naval motif and typographic border on title page. Condition: Good (G), minor foxing, spine wear, but intact and complete. An evocative artifact of pre-war Soviet naval literature. Binding: Original typographic wrappers with printed naval emblem and title in blue and black ink.
