Jänner 1863 in Troppau; 17. Oktober 1923 in Wien) war ein österreichischer Mathematiker. (Wikipedia). Das Buch stammt offensichtlich aus dem Besitz von Heinrich Liebmann (* 22. Oktober 1874 in Straßburg; 12. Juni 1939 in München-Solln), einem deutschen Mathematiker mit dem Spezialgebiet Geometrie. Dem Buch liegt ein handschriftl. Brief aus dem Jahre 1914 bei, der an Liebmann gerichtet ist. Er stammt von dem britischen Mathematiker Alfred Kempe (* 6. Juli 1849 in Kensington; 21. April 1922 in London). Kempe erläutert in dem zweiseitigen, in deutsch geschriebenem Brief, "ein ganz einfaches Instrument", das seinen "Gelenkmechanismus" (Zeitschrift für Mathematik und Physik, Bd. 49, 1903) "ein wenig verbessert aus praktischem Gesichtspunkte".
