Oblong 8vo. 2 pp. To an unidentified recipient addressed as "maître", informing him that a sculpture by Antonin Mercié is finished, and asking him for a meeting in order to discuss when and how this work should be offered to their "gracious sovereign": "Le groupe de Mercié est prêt ! - It can only be speculated that the work by Mercié was intended as a gift for an important female friend. - On stationery of "La Nouvelle Revue". Minor browning.
