Sobre el libro :: Pierre Aigrain, nacido en Poitiers en 28 de septiembre 1924 y murió el 30 de octubre 2002 , es un científico francés. Fue Secretario de Estado de Investigación, bajo la presidencia de Valéry Giscard d'Estaing .… Hijo de un ingeniero, Pierre Aigrain alguna escuela secundaria en Metz y postgrado estudios en la Academia Naval de 1942 a 1945. En 1945 a los 21 años se convirtió en un oficial de marina y fue enviado a estudiar en los Estados Unidos en Norfolk, Virginia, y se convirtió en teniente en Memphis. En 1946 fue admitido en el Carnegie Institute of Technology de Pittsburgh , para preparar un Maestro. Luego se unió al Departamento de Ingeniería Eléctrica, donde el profesor FM Williams le consigue un puesto como investigador asociado para un doctorado en ingeniería eléctrica, un diploma en el año 1948 obtuvo. En el Instituto Carnegie de Tecnología, se reunió en septiembre de 1948 Dugas Claude , enviado por Yves Rocard través de una subvención del CNRS de trabajo en el Fred Seitz (Jefe del Departamento de Física). También conoció a su futura esposa en Pittsburgh Francine Bogard. De vuelta a Francia fue enviado al laboratorio de física en la École Normale Supérieure, dirigido por Yves Rocard , como subdirector técnico del centro de investigación científica de la Armada (1948-1949). Él trabaja en la física de germanimum transistor. Es entonces ingeniero de la Comisión de Energía Atómica durante los años 1949-1950 , entonces asistente del College de France (cátedra de física teórica de Jean Laval recién nombrados) desde 1950 hasta 1951 y otra vez Ingeniero de la Comisión de Energía Atómica desde 1951 hasta 1952. Llega a 26 años, doctor en Ciencias Físicas en 1950 en la Facultad de la Universidad de París y se instaló en el laboratorio de física de la Escuela Normal Superior, con Claude Dugas , un pequeño equipo de investigación semiconductores que se convierte en el laboratorio de física del estado sólido de la Escuela, que dirigirá el laboratorio hasta 1965. Pierre-Gilles de Gennes prepara su título de posgrado . En 1952, de 28 años, renunció a la marina de guerra y se convirtió, temporalmente, un profesor de física teórica en la Facultad de la Universidad de Lille, al mismo tiempo mantener el compromiso en el laboratorio de física de la École Normale Supérieure, donde también es profesor de 1952-1953. Se convirtió en el primero de octubre de 1954, a los 30 años, un profesor sobre una base permanente en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de París para el certificado de enseñanza de los PCB (en paralelo con Maurice Curie , Jean-Paul Mathieu y André Guinier y Pablo Soleillet y Jean Brossel ). Obtuvo el título de profesor sin una silla el 1 de enero de 1957) y fue nombrado catedrático de Ingeniería Eléctrica de 01 de octubre 1958 el retiro de Marcel Pauthenier , luego fue trasladado a la silla de Energía el 1 de octubre en el año 1963. También participa en 1955 para crear el certificado de terceros la física de estado sólido con el ciclo de Jacques Friedel y Guinier André , y el de la física atómica y estadísticas con Jean Brossel , Kastler , Jacques Yvon , Pierre-Gilles de Gennes , y Claude Cohen -Tannoudji . 12 de diciembre 1958, fue uno de los 12 primeros sabios recibidos por el general de Gaulle para lanzar la Delegación General de Investigación Científica y Técnica.
