Add to basketPaperback. Condition: Very Good. Staplebound softcover, 8 x 10 1/2 inches, the original printing and covers, 111 pp, illustrated with drawings and photographs. Very good. Some soil and foxing on covers, corners bumped and creased, previous owner's signature, title boxed in and coat of arms filled in, all in color pencil, on front cover, his name and address and a curious drawing of a circle and triangle pattern (looking very much like a crop circle! ) on rear cover, staples rusted. Internally, a half dozen or so of the drawings have been neatly penciled in or extended a bit, marginalia and/or corrections (in pencil) on five or six pages, nice drawing of the Air Corps circled star, done in red, white and blue, on blank last page, 1 or 2 dogears, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked. Covers principles, operation, maintenance, etc. Of propellers, including Lycoming-Smith, Curtiss and Hamilton. Interesting glimpse into the state of readiness, mechanics, technical capabilities, etc of the U S Army Air Corps on the eve of World War II. Military; avaition; technical manual; training; combat readiness; history; aviation; airplanes; Air Force.…
