Octavo, original orange cloth over boards, black lettering on front cover and spine, color illustrated dust jacket, black and white frontispiece, four additional black and white illustrations. Scarce football novel. Very Good but for dampstain at rear cover, in Very Good dust jacket, a few small edge chips, small dampstain, abrasion and chip to front panel, slight darkening to spine.

DJ has shelf-wear present to the DJ extremities (DJ is chipped and worn at the crown of the spnie). Bound in cloth boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. Previous owner's bookplate present to the front pastedown. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Possibly the only copy in existance currently with a dust jacket. Rodney Newton is the tale of a student at a military academy. The narrative of his temper and other difficulties and of his prowess on the football field make up a well balanced story.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
