A healthy credit for director Carmine, whose 100-plus films leave a considerable impression in early Italian cinema. 9.25 x 12 inches, saddle-stapled color illustrated wrappers, 12 leaves. Contact seller4-star sellerFramed. First Edition. A lovely nostalgic print, in a style similar to the classic Cecil Aldin prints of the same period. Large format version. The print such as exposed measures 34 by 52 cm. With frame and matting, it is 51 by 68.5 cm. N.d., circa 1910. (We know the print was printed in the 20th Century as it refers to the King… and Queen.) We find the frame, with its black perimeter surrounding the gilt molding, quite handsome, and with its light wear, something most would choose to hold onto, we believe. The green matting was well-chosen and is certainly need not be replaced but it is just a tad tired looking, in our view, with some of the color a touch washed out looking.
